How it all started......
Being a regulatory consultant for European Chemical Regulations REACH 1907/2006, CLP 1272/2008, and European Cosmetics Regulation, I possess a sound knowledge of chemicals and their harmful effects. Being a biochemist, I understand how chemicals affect us. I have notable experience of 3 years working with European companies to fulfil their regulatory obligations related to chemicals.
This sound understanding of chemicals and their effects on human body made me reluctant to purchase any product from market that are always full of chemicals with a large list of ingredients. I formulated and developed products for myself for my personal use just to avoid chemicals as much as possible. After that many people demanded products that I were using because of my flawless no make-up look.
Here started the chain of my products and people's trust on my formulation. When people, who used my products, were happy with the results and I saw that products were solving their problems without any harmful effects on their body and skin, I started thinking about making these products available to everyone around.
My thoughts were, "If I am being benefitted with my safe formulations, why not help others too?" And here starts the story of Reviticals......
Behind the idea of Freshly Prepared Serums And Customized Skincare
You spend on a product and it doesn't suit well to your skin type. For example, you order a vitamin C serum and you have oily skin. But when you try that product, you find it very oily. And you are left with no option but to stop using that product. While the skin type of every person is unique, it needs unique treatment. Here comes the idea of customization. Reviticals is pioneer in the cosmetics race by solving this problem. We provide order-on-demand formulations. We have standard formulas available. They are tested for their safety and efficacy.
If you don't want customized formulation, we will send you standard formulation. On the other hand, if you want customization, we will adjust the concentration of few ingredients according to your skin type. For example, if you have oily skin, we will lower the ingredients that add to oily look. If you have dry skin, we can add ceramides. If you have acne prone skin or using vitamin C for first time, we will keep the vitamin C concentration minimum and so on...........
Why Freshly Prepared Serums?
The idea of freshly prepared serum started with realization of importance of vitamin C for skin and its unstable nature. Vitamin C is the one of the most prominent, well-researched, ingredient with proven benefits from human studies. But all the studies were on pure form of vitamin C that is ascorbic acid.
Vitamin C, ascorbic acid is very important for synthesis of skin proteins that decline with age. It is also a powerful anti-oxidant. But unfortunately, ascorbic acid, itself is very unstable.
